This Is Awkward...[Heracles & Lovino]

Heracles frowned, staring down at the floor blankly as he wait for his name to get called. By his feet was a cage with one of his kittens, the same one that he needed to buy new food for. The kitten had reacted badly to the new food as well, so now Heracles was taking her to the vet to see just what was wrong with her. He was really worried; the only things she could take in without throwing them back up were water and some really little bits of meat. Anything bigger than half his pinky nail was thrown back up again.

His eyes moved to the door that lead to the doctor's office as it opened, and they fell back to the ground when the person next to him was called back there. This created the only empty seat in the entire waiting room, as apparently today was the day that everyone's pet was sick.

Damiano was sick; that’s what Lovino discovered after he went to go feed the turtles. After panicking for a while, the Italian finally came to the decision to bring the poor creature to the vet. He’d know how to make the turtle feel better, right? Lovino rally hoped so; he didn’t want to have to get rid of any of his pets…especially ones that he was so fond of.

With a huff, the Italian pushed the door to the vet’s office and stepped in cringing when he realized the office was packed. Shit. How long was he going to have to wait? He needed to get back to the hospital before it got too late… He didn’t have any time to wait.

But he wanted Damiano to get better…so he was going to have to wait a little while. Goddamn it. With an unhappy frown, the Italian signed in and moved to find a seat. Only to notice that the only available seat was next to Heracles. God fucking damn it. Life really hated him, didn’t it? Not wanting to sit down next to the Greek, the Italian moved to lean against the wall, cursing his life.

His eyes moved to the door leading to the other practices in this building as it opened and he immediately looked down at his feet as a very familiar Italian came into the room with a turtle in his hands. He hadn't expected to see Lovino outside of work; which was stupid of him because that was where they met, outside of work. But he had prepared himself for seeing Lovino at work, steeling himself against the pain.

He wasn't prepared for the stab of pain that went through him now, so long after they had brokend up. He had thought it would be easier; it didn't hurt as much as it used to, thinking about what happened, but apparently...he frowned and played with one of the small holes in his jeans, slowly but surely widening it.

The Italian frowned, his eyes glancing over to the Grecian every couple of moments. Every time he glanced over he felt depressed and angry. The thoughts made him frown and he moved further away from the nurse. He wasn’t too happy that Heracles was here… Lovino spent most of his time trying to avoid the Grecian, even going out of his way to try to avoid the break room and cafeteria unless he really needed to.

He turned away from Heracles, his eyes drifting to the woman behind the counter, wondering if it would be better just to leave and come back later. He didn’t want to have to deal with Heracles if he came over.

He listened as more people were called back to the vet's office and watched as more people came in to fill the seats left open, thus leaving Lovino still standing. And the seat next to Heracles still open. Looking over at the Italian, Heracles surpressed a sigh as he moved over so he was as far as he possibly could be from the seat, hoping to get Lovino to sit down. Yes, he really didn't want to deal with the Italian now, but it was obviously going to be a long wait and the other man's turtle was probably heavy. He shouldn't have to stand the entire time.

The Italian noticed his ex moving to give him more room on the chair and frowned, turning away. No matter how much room the Grecian was giving him, there was no way Lovino was going to sit next to him. Hell would have to freeze over before he even considered sitting there. He stared at the receptionist for another moment before glancing around the room, noticing that people had filled any other vacant seats. With an annoyed sigh, he looked over at the nurse and raised his voice a bit to be heard. "I'm not sitting next to you. Don't bother worrying about me." He huffed and turned away again, hoping Heracles would get the picture.
